Fox had been singing these songs at home and in the car weeks prior to the concert- naturally when the time came he was more interested in watching everyone in the audience rather than singing.
The students had hand gestures to go along with the songs.
After the singing each child was given a 'Christen Character' award. Fox was given the award for 'Eagerness'. The award is quite fitting.

The teacher also read a poem that the children helped write. Each child said what they loved about their father and this made up the poem. You didn't find out what each child said until the end. Each family got to take home a copy of the poem and a poster each child painted with a photo of them and their dad along with their 'why I love my daddy' quote.
After the concert Fox showed us his clay bear he had made in school. I love his bear. We were also given a photo of him with the bear prior to the last fire with the glaze.
Following the bear presentation- families enjoyed a pot luck style lunch with the students. Fox got to enjoy some play time and I got a great photo of him and his cousins Baylie and Taylor who also attend the same school.
School is now out for the summer and Fox is back in daycare for 3 full days a week. I am looking forward to him being worn out at the end of they day from all of the play time.
